Laura McInnes
Laura is an actor, writer and singer, graduating from Actors Centre Australia (ACA) in 2020. Some of her credits at ACA included Medea in Medea (dir. Adam Cook), Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (NIDA/ACA Project), Mrs. Frail in Love for Love (dir. Anthony Skuse), Denise Savage in Savage in Limbo (dir. Troy Harrison), Dawn in Lobby Hero (dir. Anthony Gooley) and Feste in Twelfth Night (dir. Adam Cook). Before attending ACA, Laura trained at ATYP and the NIDA Actors Studio as well as being a member of the NSW Public Schools Drama Company. Some of her previous roles included Leah in DNA (Seymour Centre/ NSW Drama Company), Joanne in Bassett (ATYP/ Bittersweet Productions) and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing (SUDS) as well as performing in The Sydney University Womn’s Revue (Seymour Centre/ Sydney Comedy Festival) and The Third Age Project (Sport for Jove Theatre Company). In 2020 Laura was also accepted in ATYP’s National Writers Studio and assistant directed Sport for Jove’s Second Age Project The Florist of Arden. This year she has been training and performing with The House That Dan Built as part of their 2021 ensemble.
