Juxta Producer
Katrina is a producer and director who is passionate about developing new work in collaboration with artists and communities that re-imagine the possibilities of live performance and film. Katrina is collaborating with CloƩ Fournier, Emily Dash and Peta Khan to create bioticX, a VR live performance exploring climate change, migration and re-wilding; and producing Smashing a film installation for Little Big Woman Productions.
Recent projects include producing the premiere season of Black Drop Effect by Nardi Simpson (Bankstown Arts Centre & Sydney Festival 2020); directing and co-writing with Debra Keenahan the immersive VR film Being Debra (Big Anxiety Festival 2019); directing Garden of the Mind (Trybal Productions 2019); and director of the award winning Intersection (ATYP 2017). Film and TV credits include co-producer After Hours (Jabiru Town Council 2006); and director In The Swim (SBS 2001).
Katrina has worked as a creative producer and director for companies such as STC, ATYP, Interplay Kenya, Information and Cultural Exchange, Metro Screen, Shopfront Contemporary Arts, PYT | Fairfield (Artisic Director 2001-2005), Penrith Performing & Visual Arts (Director of Performing Arts 2008-2014), and PACT centre for emerging artists (Artistic Director / CEO 2014-2019).
